You found a winner ! 16 seconds to load on my normally fast connection
but I too am in Texas, so there's a lot of reviews... and who knows what database engine they are using... it still serves a purpose though...
If you go to their home page it loads pretty quickly:

I went to safari and put in the main site. rvservicereviews.com
So it must have been your link that was slow.

I asked if my link was slow. The main page is ok. Try going to a big state, like AZ, TX or CA. Even CT is slow.

I think you deserve a refund from rvservicereviews for this . Oh , wait. It's a free site.

It's been the slowest site I visit, 12-15 seconds, but today to get here it took 15 minutes, I can open huge PDF's in 2-3 sec. and livestream races and news in 4-5 sec. I'm still on Windows IE7 and checked here to see if anything else was quicker but it sounds like everyone is complaining about the speed.

I have posted this before. Just thought I'd say it again.
I down loaded Mozilla Firefox with no add on's. It's free & easy to load. I can now use iRV2 in the blink of an eye. No delay time. I have an older desktop computer with Windows XP but don't know if that makes a differance. Just know iRV2 is very fast now.
As a side note my web site sign on stays there where as before I had to sign on about every 2 or 3 days. Have had the same thing with the sign on with RV.Net. I use Firefox for both web sites.

Not everyone, just those using IE. Those that have moved on to FF are not seeing any speed issues, give it a try

Does that mean that IE has found a way to fight the ad blockers and they are going at it like a sack full of cats? Seems like ad blockers for Chrome work one time, but not the next. Maybe the ad publishers are finding a way to get around blocks and it is slowing things down.

Adblock Plus for FF works fine. In FF if you want to further reduce the image population, including the campfires under a users name, right clck on the page and tell it to block images, etc.

The same thing can be done in Google Chrome with Ad Block Plus. Right click on the undesirable element and a menu will open up. Select "Block Element" from the menu and POOF, it's gone. You might have to refresh before the POOF takes effect.

It is a shame to have to do this but I downloaded firefox yesterday. It loaded easily, brought over my favorites, and is easy enough to use.
I haven't made any changes to the setting. This Forum is running nice and fast now. I will try to discover the differences.
