Whatever they are working on, they are certainly headed in the right direction.

I switched to Firefox last week just to be able to use iRV2 but have been testing the site with IE8 each day.

Just tested today at noon and the site came up fast and the forum pages load fast as well.

I am looking forward to using IE8 again, Foxfire is good but it has some funky display anomilies on sites that were probably designed for IE.

Thanks for taking this seriously and working to resolve the issue (afterall, resolving people's issues is the reason we're all on iRV2 to begin with)

Folks - please be patient... we are going through the site feature by feature and line by line of code and looking at everything. iRV2 is a feature rich board - we have lots of bells and whistles. While that makes the board really useful, it also can be a double edged sword.

Over the next few days you may see some features (like the google search up top) disappear while we examine it and test performance. As we find things that slow down the site, we'll try to address them and then return the feature (perhaps in an altered form).

Janet, the last time I checked (this morning) it was fixed. If they keep messing around, they're gonna fix it till it's broke Again...

As noted above, the tech team is still looking at many things.

It's much better, but they are not done testing.

From the time I punch the address in until I can actually sign-in is unbelievably long. It seems the site is busy loading a ton of in the background and will not enable the sign-in box until it is finished. I'm talking multiple seconds and I am on FiOS.
Good luck in finding the slow down.

Earlier this week when I tried IE8, I could go to the fridge, get a beer, and it still wasn't done loading the page.
