Is the website slow or is it just me?

I seem to get good response time from other sites but I have problems with this site. Is it just me? Do I need to fix something?

I was having problems earlier this afternoon using my iPad and works connection. Changed it to my cellular data and still had the problem. Tried again an hour later and everything was fine. It wouldn't load anyones pic Avatars.

Very occasionally this site slows down, most likely due to servers being busy. Most sites piggyback with many other companies and forums and at peak time seem to be slow. Usually I see slow downs on some sites, but not all nor every day between 10 and 3 (midday).

You also may need to "clean" your computer's cookies and cache, especially if it's an older desk top and especially a laptop. You might also need a "registry repair", tho some don't advocate doing this often

Thanks for the feedback and I have done much of what has been suggested and more. But I still get better response times from other websites compared to this one.

I guess it's because this website has so much more good stuff to offer. I'm not complaining, just curious.
