I never insinuated that you were visiting any porn sites. The quote comes from AD Choices the supplier of the ads. On most of the Banner Ads there is a little arrow on the right side, if you click it, it will take you to there site. There you will see the quote and how the ads are selected. It will also give you the choice to opt out of some ads. I was trying to educate the forum as to how these ads are selected, not to point fingers at anyone.

The line Where have you been looking?lol was meant to be funny thus the lol.

I sure wish some of the posters would check the little arrow for AD Choices and read the info it will furnish about the ads. It may be BS, but it is not mine it comes from the source of the ads.
So if some others posters will read the info and post back, as to their interpolation. It would be appreciated

If I offended anyone I apologize.

I agree. I feel strongly both ways(between the two that were bickering) and it's about to drive me crazy.

Thanks for breaking it up.

It's not iRV2 folks...it's Googles "AdSense."

They look at many "traits" to tailor banner ads, like...they look at region (using the IP address), stats from Internet Service Provider (ISP) and even search history (pulled from Google, Yahoo etc.).

I haven't seen any questionable ads either...just Jeeps, Air Ride, Local Car Dealerships, and such...but I did notice that after shopping for a Tailgater SAT Dish, I had a banner ad for it on this site.

...That is a simple example of pulling from the Search Engine.

Do you want to get rid of the ads but not switch to FF?

Add a "Hosts file" to your computer. Search for it.

Here is a link on the various ways a "host file" can be used.

Considering how offended some are about this ad, they sure have studied it enough to be able to jot down every detail of what the ladies were wearing and how they were seated. My banner ad shows a Jeep, should I be offended because I prefer Chevys? Lighten up folks.

Please read my previous post regarding your assumption regarding pulling from my search engine, I disagree. This ad is in rotation, selected by Google, along with other ads and these ads change from time to time. This morning I have not seen the ad in question but I am seeing ads from Mobile 1 oil, Ford, GMAC insurance, etc. In the last 24 hours I have not done any searches on any subject related to the ads I am seeing this morning.

You have been told by many how advertising on the internet is done, yet you still keep taking it personal. No one is lying to you or giving you false information. It is what it is. Have a cup of coffee and relax, no one is accusing you of anything, they are just letting you know how internet advertising is done. The reason you are seeing ads for Mobile 1, Ford, etc. is because your on an RV site and RV's use those products. If you don't believe them, then click the Adsense link and read for yourself. You will be educated.
