Ladies Of The Night Banner Ad

What's with the banner ad having the ladies of the night advertising their services. I'm no prude, but is iRV2 accepting this advertising because they think their members are a good market for ladies of the night? I know one advertiser that will reconsider their participation if they knew they were in ad rotation with the ladies.

It is a rotating ad with other ads. Top of the screen. Sometimes the CW we want you back ad is there, car ads, etc.

I saw it also. Couldn't figure out what something like that was doing on this forum. Sad, really sad.

Darn it, I knew I shouldn't have starting using Firefox with Ad-blocker. I could be seeing that ad while I'm waiting for-e-ver for the page to load.

The ads are not from IRV2, they are ads from other sources that IRV2 gets some revenue from. Not sure they can even control their being shown.

I keep getting messages from Ad-blocker saying I am over my 200 blocked ad limit for today. I see all of the ads now till tomorrow!

From the banner ad "The AdChoices icon appears on sites that use Google's AdSense program to show ads. While Google often shows you ads based on the content of the page you are viewing, we also show some ads based on the types of websites you visit, view, or where you interact with an ad or other Google product supported by Google's advertising services. In doing this, Google doesn't know your name or any other personal information about you. Google simply recognizes the number stored in your browser on the DoubleClick cookie, and shows ads related to the interest and inferred demographic categories associated with that cookie. It's our goal to make these ads as relevant and useful as possible for you. Google doesn't create categories, or show ads, based on sensitive topics such as race, religion, sexual orientation, or health."

Where have you been looking?lol

I use Ad block on Google Chrome, I don't see no stinkin' ads! By the way, some ads are keyed to what websites you've visited and had cookies installed. Before Ad Block, if I searched for a product, it would suddenly start showing up in banner and border ads in other websites I visited. I'd go and dump cookies, and the focused ads would disappear.
GaryKD, what websites you been visiting?
