Hopefully, iRV2 doesn't start following in the foot steps of Facebook in successfully making every new generation of their App more broken than the last .

Suggestion Box

The iPad application does not seem to re-try a connection to upload or download. This is not a big problem in getting a page. If the request failed, you just touch the 'back' button and try again. The problem is when you have spent several minutes typing a reply and hit 'send'. If the transmission fails, the app simply locks up in the 'sending...' state. You have to cancel and the typed message is lost. If there is already a timeout before re-trying, then it is way too long. Thanks.

After update I had to re-install also. But now I have another problem. With the last version I could be in the middle of a reply, hit my Home key to grab a url or whatever. Then just hit the IRV app and I would be back where I left off, reply still intact.

Now when I do this, I have been logged off, lose my work and am taken to the main Forums page.???

Note that this is not our app.

It is supplied by a vendor and they make changes as they deem them necessary.

When we see a new problem and go the vendor's customer forum, we find that the problem is widespread and not just iRV2 related.

We report the problem and have to wait until the vendor fixes it.

Ok, i can no longer resist asking the obvious question.

If they are doing such a poor job of maintaing the iPad app, then why are they the ones doing it?

I can understand the occasional "oops", but version after version of obvious user interface glitches?

There are a number of vendors out there with very high quality control standards that are relatively inexpensive. It is a very competitive field.

Hello? I only use ipad for irv2...When is the iPad application going to be fixed? Is there an eta? Is there a plan? Is there any quality communication going on between irv2 and the application provider? Anything? Hello? Anyone home? Over a week now...

What is the version number for the IRV2 IPad app that is experiencing the issue?

What versions of the IPad are having the issue?

My wife is using IRV2 app version number 1.6.0 on an IPad 1.0 and not experiencing any issues.
