I guess I'm gonna have to upgrade my OS. I am blocked out after MANAGE ATTACHMENTS.

Thanks for the info! I'll be back to try again after I upgrade.

The latest update seems to have corrected the problem.
Thanks.

I need to go to Applications/Manage Applications - find IRV2 and delete the old data and cache.

iPad update has dead spots

Ever since the most recent iPad update I am experiencing Dead spots on my screen in the app. I see that there were prior situations like this a year or two back but nothing recently. Is anyone else having a similar problem?

I have an iPad 2 running 6.0.1. Everything was fine until a few days ago!?

Yes, same thing with my ipad2. Irv2 knows about the problem and is working with the app vendor for a fix.

I am embarrassed to say that I'm still using IOS 4. I usually let my tech savy daughter to upgrade for me, but she is 2,500 miles away. Guess I'm gonna hafta drag out and charge the laptop. I have an ipad 1. Or, maybe this is the excuse I need to get the newest ipad. Don't they upgrade without a computer, now?

All you need is WiFi

Go to "Settings"
Go to "Software Update"
Run your update.

The ipad 1 doesn't have that option in settings.

My wife has iPad 1. I just checked hers. She still has IOS5. It appears you do have to connect in order to get the updates.

I just spoke with my daughter. She said that's as up to date as it's going to get.

You may have the excuse to get your new iPad!

I have the iPad 1 also and it works fine. Software update is under "General Settings" and version 5.1.1 is the latest software update for the iPad 1.

I also have the first iPad, but my os is 4.3.1, I really never got an update offer on the app store. I'm using the irv2 version 1.6. No problems, except occasionally it does not want to connect, saying server is unable to connect. That seems to only happen once a month or so.

Yesterday I could not wrestle the iPad away from my wife, and I had to se the laptop. Holy cow, I hate navigating around this site with that. I'm so used to the bare bones iPad site with no ads and a lot less buttons!

Really. Basically the provider has pushed an update out days ago now for Android.

We understand this is a hassle and inconvenience for members but are being as proactive as we know how. We appreciate your patience as well.
