Unfortunately, the vendor has not yet fixed it.

So is it the App Developer, the Vendor or Apple that is holding this up? Over a month and still no fix for something as important as the iPad seem pretty unacceptable to me!

What is being done to apply pressure on the responsible party? Why no regular updates? Why are iPad users being left in the dark? Are iPad users unimportant to iRV2?

Please remember that it's a free app to a free web site.

We were mistaken when we thought the app vendor had sent the fix to the Apple store.

We are still waiting for the vendor to fix it.

Understand....but the last update to this thread was Dec.12....appreciate the holidays etc, but updating this thread on a weekly basis would go a long way in keeping everyone advised.

A simple..still working on a fix...is all.

Anyway, thanks for the status update hope you find a cure soon!

I was on another forum that uses this same application to operate that forum and have the same problem in landscape orientation. Hope it gets fixed soon.

iPad 2, iOS 6, irv2 1.6, has the dead screen above the home button. Have deleted it, reinstalled several times, but no difference. Works fine on the iPhone 4. I can overcome the dead screen by rotating the iPad but it is a pain.
To be fair, iOS 6 is a dog at the best of times, and I should never have upgraded from iOS 5.

If the app is giving you trouble why not just use Safari on your iPad to access iRV2 like you would from a computer?

I only use the app on my iPhone to check for updates on subscribed threads.

I use Safari on both iPhone and iPad to view the new posts, using either the "New Posts" or the "Today's Posts" links. I find this much easier when browsing through 3 to 6 pages of posts.

Or you could ask to have the money you paid for the app refunded to you

Yup, mine updated with problems too.

My I Pad locked up also. My 9 year old grandson messed with it about 30 seconds and unlocked it. App still doesn't work, but the I Pad does.

I guess this is technology only a third grader can appreciate.

If I knew what he did, I would pass the info on.

I have moved to Safari to access iRV2, but would prefer to use the iPad version if it worked. I understand vendors are busy and software bugs are time consuming. That's the way it is. I am slow to accept the excuse of "free app" in the instance of a profit making organization. I have ran some non-profits and could sometimes use the repair cost excuse to get by with it, but just keep us informed and please don't use the free app excuse again.

IRV2 is loosing members like me because I Prefer clubs that have working ipad apps. The app may be free to users but there is advertising revenue at risk.
Will the vendor, Social Knowledge, get IRV2 and estimate as to when this will be fixed?

It didn't work for me, either. I have a fourth gen iPad. I seem to be able to work around the bugs by doing two things. first, i moved the most frequently used buttons to the right side of the screen in landscape mode. Second, by flipping it to portrait mode, I can usually select the button I am not able to select in landscape, and then I go back to landscape. Not pretty, but it's working for me till the bug fix is released.
