Hey Macnut,

Why not do like me and just use the standard PC version? I personally like it better. Works fine on my iPad 2.

Basically, for convenience. I like to catchup on reading with my iPad and only use the iMc when I need to. I can take my iPad anywhere (sofa, breakfast table, patio, Starbucks...), but I can only use the iMac in one place.

I agree....I prefer my iPad for it's mobility and I also prefer the mobile "app" as it is a simpler and less cluttered presentation. Regardless, I have given-up in despair over getting this thing fixed and every time I ask for some consideration for a progress update....people suggest that this is an unrealistic expectation for a free app!

When using the app are you able to see attachments? I posted 2 files for another member and I can see them on the iPad when I use Safari to hit iRV2 but not when using the app. I have the app settings set to "show attachments" but no joy.

I am having all the same issues........my work-around is to simply rotate my iPad to any other orientation, even upside down with the home button on the left side allows me to use the right side of the screen

It seems that the "dead" spot is the first 2 inches along the home button edge of the screen. Regardless of all the other ways to use this forum, the app should still work properly. It doesn't.

I use my iPad for everything everywhere and rarely my PC. I use the Full PC Version of irv2 ON my iPad. I just saved the link to my iPad main screen. I hardly ever used the irv2 iPad App on my iPad when it worked. I didn't like how I had to navigate it.

Dogpatch, you are right that I could use the website from my iPad, rather then the app...I just don't like using the website very much. If I had to, I guess I would, but the workarounds I mentioned above at least make the app usable for me. Hopefully, we'll see an app update soon.

Are you able to see attachments with the app?

I have the iPad 3 running ios 6.0.1.

I only see the text of posts, no attachments

Just to clarify, in the posting I see the thumbnail of the uploaded photos. Since the photo is in the "dead" area of the screen, I have to turn it to portrait mode in order to click on it and view it full screen.

I see photos and posted web links, what I cannot see is links to files. I uploaded from my laptop 2 pdf files for another member. I can see them when I go to iRV2 via Safari, just can't see them on my iPad.

Post 24 in this thread Milepost vs Caravan is the specific issue. Can you tell me if you see the 2 attached pdf files? THanks
