I was over at TheDieselStop.com and linked my post there to this http://irv2.infopop.cc/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/2396073452/m/7026093603 archived site. I was shocked to see it required a login from me even though I was already logged in or to join.
I feel this is very counter productive for getting new people to this site. I linked here to be helpful in answering a question but also to attract new people to this site. Most people, when they get to something that wants them to join, will say forget it and never return. I know I do.
I was attracted to this site by a link from TheDieselStop.com site and have enjoyed this site and learned from it. I would hope you could change this parameter to allow a direct link without the hassle of requiring them to join.
Jim

Jim,

Thanks for the 'heads up' on this, personally I wasn't aware of that parameter being set that way. I support allowing it and will discuss it with the other administrators for their input and/or rationale and respond accordingly.

Again, thanks.
