Login password not working

I have had to go through the process to update to a new password every time I come over to IRV2 to browse the site. IN doing so it never remembers my new password I type in and then tells me I have two emails that don't match. Does this make sense and can someone help me out or reset something on my account because something is not right with the site. Thanks.

Yes, but I just had to log in using the last temp password the site sent me. I can go and update to a password of my choosing but it won't take. If I X out of this browser or log off from IRV2 it won't accept the new password of my choosing.

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?

As Lori notes, this is usually a corrupted cookie(s).

I'll make that x3. If you can't log in after you do this , select " contact us " at the bottom of the page and we'll reset your password.

Hi Parks, I don't work for the forum but have changed my password on this and other vBullitin forums quite a few times in the past.

Does the message you get say this?:

Quote:
vBulletin Message

The password you have entered does not match your current one. Please press the back button, enter the correct details and try again. Don't forget that the password is case sensitive. Forgotten your password? Click here!
When you mentioned you get a message that you have "two emails don't match," if it could possibly be the above message?

Remember, there are three (3) boxes you must fill in when changing your password.

The first box which is sometimes easy to miss says this: "Enter your present password to continue:" In the box just below that message, enter your temporary password that the forum has sent to you.

You then can go to the boxes that say: "New Password:"

And below that: "Confirm New Password:"

Then tap the "Save Changes" button and your own newly created password theoretically should stick.

Give that a try once you clear you browser's cache and cookies.
