Long Running Script Hangup
Recently when I change screens, the iRV2 forums have been hanging up. I get a message at the bottom of the screen stating that "iRV2 is not responding due to a long running script." If I choose the "Close script" option in the message, the forum page behaves normally. Is this an iRV2 script, a Google ads script or ??? I'm not sure that I can tell from my end.

I don't know how to tell which script it is but I have had the same problem with other sites. Chances are it is one of the ads that help pay for our site.

I reported the same problem last night and I am still having the same problem this morning. When I first log in I get the message and when ever I hit the back button it is the same way. Something is wrong for sure.

Most likely a "Whatever" meaning
Google Ads pops up an add provided by someone who pays them to put it up and the script is in that ad.
What I would like.. A TSR background app that increases the senistivity of that "Slow Script" pop up and auto-responds with YES, Stop the stupid script, and if at all possible puts said script on a black list so it never pops up again.

same here ... aggravating. I am trying to find where to post a Louisisana Rally information. this is as far as I get. as I am not familiar with the site

Got the ad to come up once, full screen , car ad , didn't leave it on long enough to find the source.
Only been happening last 2/3 days.

This is happening to me too. Can the iRV2 techs eliminate the offending script?

Maybe related to the appearance of the Chinese script adds some members have been reporting.

I think it has something to do with the ads on the site not rendering in a timely fashion. This could be due to internet congestion, a slow server somewhere, a graphics intensive ad or a number of other factors. I just click on stop script. And make sure that you have set up your preferences here to not show right side ads.

Ok , I let the long running script ad load , and on my page it came up as a video ad not just multiple still photos , from a Richmond B.C. car dealership , could be this is also the source of the Chinese ads I get from time to time . Does the iRV2 site have any say in the size/type, of the ads posted to the site ?
Could be it's the video format of the ads is the slowdown.

I thought I was the only one having this problem the last few days.  Only happens on the IRV2 site. Very aggravating. If I right-click, I get a pop-up box that lets me stop the script.
