Lost location to last post in all threads.
Went to look at new posts and I notice that every time I click on the new post icon on all threads it goes to the first post instead of where I left off. Did something happen to the database or is it just me?

When the "New Post" tab is clicked on, the latest/newest posts will be first and then down the line........

Maybe there is a misunderstanding about what I'm saying.
First I'm in "linear - oldest first" display mode so new posts are always at the end. I like this much better than newest first as it makes for a more natural reading of the posts.
In this mode I get a down arrow next to any new posts. Normally when clicking on the arrow I will be taken to the first new post which is usually near the last page.
Clicking on the down arrow no longer take me to the newest post, even on threads I've been following for a long time, but back post #1.
I've not made any changes to any of my settings.

I have my setup the same as you, and it works as always, nothing has changed .Strange that yours would have changed.

I can confirm this is happening to me also. I use an iPhone, and start at the user control panel to check subscribed threads.
I click on the last page (usually page 2) - I am sure I am clicking the correct link - it gets highlighted. Whether I open it in a new tab or in the same window, it now always takes me to Post #1
I only use the website, not the app
It's been going on for at least two days (probably more)
Thx
CC

Thanks Lori! It's not that bad, just a couple extra clicks to get there :-)

Same here. I go to the subscribed threads in my control panel and will hit the most recent page number or "last" and it takes me to the first post. This has been going on for about a couple of days.

Confirmed as well ... I have hundreds of subscriptions in my usercp, and when I click on "last page" for any of the posts, I am taken to the 1st post in the thread.

Folks - thanks for reporting this. This is related to the recent change to HTTPS for login to increase security for usernames and password combos. We've just made a change to address this issue although it may take a few hours to propagate and you see the update.

Thanks, Janet. It's amazing how connected the pieces of a site are & how changing one thing impacts others.
