Bummer. As for the rest - can't use Firefox, I have some special software that only runs IE. Can't turn off sound cause I am always doing something else in the background while I read IRV2. Didn't know about right column turn off.

Thx all.

I believe there is a thumb drive version of Firefox.. (not sure). you do not install it. They did this so you could take your personal bookmarks with you.

It's not just iRV2. I'm seeing far more of these annoying "sound on" ads from Google and/or AdChoices all over the Internet these days.

Tritto Firefox and Adblock Plus- but at the very least, you can just left-click the speaker icon on your toolbar at the bottom of the page and then click Mute.

Personally, I find it astonishing that anyone still uses Internet Explorer these days.

I have never used firefox and or adblock plus and have used IE for many years. I never have a problem with sound on any of the sites I visit. I personally don't see anything wrong with IE. Works for me.

I'm amazed by both of you. Now, behave yourselves or I'm going to turn this thread around and go back home.

As a side note, Adblock Plus will work fine with Internet Explorer, with one exception; it will remove the *&^%$#@! Meebo toolbar only in FireFox.
