Thumbs down Make it STOP

Today for some reason I started getting messages on my android phone whenever a new post is made. I've been using the irv2 app for android phones for months but this just started today. I cannot figure out how to turn it off! This must be some sort of new "feature" with the latest release but with no way to turn it off, it totally sucks. My phone is going crazy with notifications every few seconds.

HELP me turn this stupid feature off, please. THANKS!

Look at the bottom of the MSG and there is a line to unsubscribe. Hopefully that I'll work.

Yeah I actually tried that before posting this - but thanks for the suggestion.

The crazy thing is, I would get a message alert every 60 seconds that said there was a new post in the newbie tire thread. But there has not been a new post there since 8/25.

I ended up uninstalling the app until I can figure out how to turn the notifications off.

I don't own that phone but i would think, like iPhone, there is a way to turn off notifications from individual apps. iPhone has a notification button and apps that you can turn notification off.
Good luck
