Mid March update question

I wasn't able to log on yesterday. Message was something to the effect, that the software was being updated. Totally understandable. Couldn't find old password, (my fault) so clicked link to reset password. Didn't work because my email addy is aol. Contacted forum to figure out what was up. Got a fix from one of the awesome administrators.

Now that I'm back on it seems the pages are loading considerably slower and the browser back button still doesn't work very well. Has anyone else experienced the same? Or, does anyone have any tips for speeding up the program. It's not my laptop that's running slow, just this forum, which by the way I LOVE. Computer is a gaming computer, and though I don't play games it's got a super fast processor, a lot of ram and high end video card.

I'm on another RV forum and it's much smoother and faster loading various pages. Maybe not as many users???? Heck if I know......................

Thoughts? Tips?

A number of folks have reported slow speeds and some of this may be due to a few of the main internet 'pipes' being slow or broken in various places in the US. Take a look here to see if you may be affected. Usually they manage to route around failed relays but it takes some extra time and more 'jumps'
