My thoughts on the "classifieds" section of irv2.com

We are shopping around for a used up-scale diesel pusher MH. While perusing the Class A section of "classifieds" section, I became aware that more than half of the posted ads are marked "sold". This perhaps doubled my time spent sorting and reading ads. Would it be practical to delete all ads marked "sold"? They are of no use to anyone anyway, as you cannot determine the actual selling price.

Thanks for the suggestion, Ray. We understand it's frustrating to have SOLD ads hanging around. SOLD items are supposed to drop off after 3 days. That quit working a long time ago. We have to go in & delete ads, 1 at a time, when we have the time to do it. I'll see if we can get that task moved up the To-Do list.

Thanks for the kind words.

Unfortunately, we have virtually no ability to make changes to the classified as it's not our software and it's about the best available software for purchase.

All of the more elaborate classified software is custom written for individual sites.

We are looking at the possibility of writing our own classified software, but there currently is no time frame.
