Well I am still not receiving any forum posts so I guess this is good bye. I have enjoyed this forum very much. If It ever gets fixed I will be back otherwise good bye to all those who have helped me with my MH questions.

wthomas1, I'm not sure what you mean exactly. Is it that you are not receiving notifications or private mail or e-mail or no no one is responding to your posts ..... not sure
I hope you come back .....

I haven't received any postings from any forums like I used to. With the old software I received the initial first posting on every topic and then replied to those that interested me. I haven't received any forum postings (email messages from the forums) at all.

Is it me or the clocks off? Why can't the times of posting be correct?

The default time is GMT. To set the correct time zone for your location, go to User CP > Edit Options, select your time zone, scroll down and save your changes.

wthomas1, Please do me a favor and check the e-Mail address that is in your profile. If you don't see a problem then I will escalate your request to the Mod Team to see if we can help you. Honestly, were still kicking the tires on this thing and it'll take a few days I expect to get all the wrinkles ironed out. Thanks for taking the time to respond to my response.

I'm on AOL also-- Had the same problem. I had to renew the irv2 address and now it works fine. The picture posting system looks the same as before, ie. resizing required. Maybe that part hasn't been addressed yet .

Try attaching the picture. Look below the text box when you're creating a post. In the Additional Options section, there's a box titled Attach Files. If you click the Manage Attachments button, you'll have the option of attaching a photo that's hosted on the internet or uploading a photo directly from your computer. My experience in uploading a file over 1 meg in size directly from my computer's C: drive is that it is resized automatically. An example is shown below. Click on the photo to enlarge it.

Software looks nice. Haven't used it much yet.
1 Can you make the Reply editing box bigger?
2 I just received my first email of new posts in my selected forum. Just links to the posts? Can't I get the entire post like before, rather than forcing me to log in? Some users, particularly this RV crowd, don't have ready access to the internet. Rather they upload and download email, then sign off to read it later.
I recall a similar discussion when the Escapees changed their software. In that case, we went from an HTML email with links and good formatting to a different text based confusing format. Still the same way, but at least they have an email with the post content.

The contents of the reply are included in the email. Look below the text that says:

If more posts are made after the original response you will have to view the website to see them. An email is sent after the first post only if your settings are set to instant notification. You can also change your subscription options to daily or weekly digest which would include all the posts made during those times in the content of the email.

Jetsmania, we had a terrible time signing on thru AOL, now it works just fine, once in a while it states that you can not post however; if you re-sign on it will work. We are using AOL now. I called AOL and apparently they had a few complaints about it told me to hold a few minutes, and it's been working ever since.

Andy - he's referring to the Daily digest of a forum (not a Topic subscription). The daily (weekly) digest does NOT have the post contents. Only a link to the topic.
For this to be really useful to the RV crowd that does NOT have a constant Internet connection, the topic subscription needs to send every reply (not just the first after reading online), and the daily/weekly subscriptions need to send the actual forum posts, not just a link to each Topic with new posts.
