Don't know if anyone may agree with me and I know that Advertising pays the bills, but the advertising inside the threads makes it very hard for me to read the threads.

All the others I can live with. Also what happened to the " all posts since last visit" ?

If you're logged in the ads do not appear in the thread. Try it.

Jim is correct about the ads.

There is a New Posts button in the blue tool bar. That will show new posts, but not your posts.

There is a Today's Posts button under the Quick Links button that will show new posts including yours.

If you delete your "Temporary Internet Files", "Cookies", & "History" you will need to log in to all the sites you ask to remember you.

That is one thing that can cause that problem.
