"New Posts" Request

Is there any way that the New Posts link could just list a full page of continuous new posts, instead of page after page of a few at a time? And then have the newest posts "bubble up" to the top, as individual new posts are read?

It seems like it would just make more sense that way. IIRC, that's the way it worked when I first joined IRV2 a while back, but it changed to the current style shortly after.

Thanks,

Roger

At what is your posts per view set? I have mine at the max: 50. If you're only seeing a few at a time, up that number.

As to your 2nd question, that is how it works. Newest posts are always at the top again, if you have it set that way.

Changes can be made via your User CP tab.

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?

I had the posts per view set at "forum default", changed it to max 50. No change.

I see 50 new posts per page. Did you log out, clear cookies & cache after you made the change?

I wonder if it's because I "ignore" several forums that don't really interest me much.
