Order of "New Posts"

Is there any way to set it so the posts shown when you click "New Posts" show threads in the order they were started, not based on the latest replies to ongoing threads? I looked in Options and did not see it.

Thanks. I looked there and did not see an option to do what I was hoping for. I see under the Advanced Search, there is a setting to "Sort Results By" and you can set it to "Thread Start Date". It would be nice to be able to adjust the sorting in a similar way in "New Posts" and the specific forums. Maybe the underlying software driving this forum does not support that.

Under "Thread Display Mode", it looks like there's only two choices;

Linear, oldest first
Linear, newest first

Thanks. My understanding is that controls the order of the individual posts once you open a thread. I am talking about the list of threads that is displayed. I'm assuming this software does not support what I was hoping to be able to do.

I think it would need something like a "New Topics" link that would just show newly created threads in the order they were created.

That doesn't look like an option with our forum software.

Hello tk, if you looking under the Quick Links menu and choose Today's Posts, it will show you all the post from today in the order they were posted.

As far as showing just new threads, this software does not do that to my knowledge. I know the board I was an admin on we had that request alot as well.
