How do I get approval to upload photos to the photo album section. I would like to add an avitar to my name if it isn't beyond me

There are three administrators that approve pictures once you upload them.

The admins must all be busy enjoying their RVs right now.

As soon as one of the admins gets back online, they will look at the pending pics.

That's my understanding of the process.

Thanks but I tried to go to the album area and was told I needed to get clearance first so I am wanting to do that then I realize the pics will also need approval.

The photo area does require a separate registration and login than the forums.

Were you able to register and login?

Below is the message I get which also includes my current login so it knows who I am.
I do see that I do not have this permission checked on my profile.

No worries.

I've sent an email to Bob (co-owner) for help.

Thanks Dirk, It wasn't urgent as I have been on irv2 for a couple of years and just decided I should add the avitar but it sure can wait a bit.

Lindsay,I looked at your permissions and didn't see anything out of line.

Once you join the photo area and click "upload photos" does it not allow you to upload photos?

Lindsay,

I'm sure Bob will get back with you shortly on this but in the interim, be advised we don't use that piece of the Groupee software, instead we bought a better photo album and it's accessed by clicking the word "Photos" at the top of all our pages. Or, click here.

Since it's not a part of the iRV2 software from Groupee, it will require a separate registration and login. Most of us just use the same username and password for both.

Glad you got it figured out.....

For the record,if you ever want to add a classified ad or a campground review, you'll need to join there too...

While it is indeed possible to use your same log in and password, it does in fact require you to join each place...

Servers are different for each one...
