Seems a bit tricky at first, but it's pretty easy.

First, this site does not host photos...meaning that you can't upload photos to iRV2 and display them in the forums. They must be posted elsewhere and you must right-click the picture as displayed on the other website, copy its URL (not the photo itself) and paste the URL into the dialog box that pops up when you click on the image icon above the text area of your post. Not every picture works, depending on how the website the pic came from is coded...and some websites are designed to disallow linking to photos, though most seem not to be. If the photo is one that belongs to you, you can use a site like Photobucket, but I'd choose a location to post your pic like flickr or Google that is associated with your identity, because the freebie sites like photobucket seem to chuck your photos after just a while, leaving your post without photos.

Photos do not have to be uploaded elsewhere.

You can directly upload photos from your computer to a post or to our photo section.

If uploaded to our photo section, they can be displayed in posts, but it's easier to just upload them directly from your computer to a post.

If you have lots of photos, it's best to upload them to our photo section and put a link in a post.

See post #7 in this thread;

I prefer the "paperclip" method.

Not true. We have a Photos section - just click on the Photos tab in the top toolbar & then on Add A Photo. You can upload them to several categories or create your own albums (as I've done).

See post #7 in the Forums 101 thread for how to insert photos in a post information.
