Why is it that every photo I try to upload it says "exceeds file size" ?

The photo is too large.

Try reducing it's size.

I too have tried and failed due to exceeding size limitations. Okay, then, what do we do? I do not really know how to upload a picture, much less how to include it in a reply. Can you tell us where we might find simple step-by-step instructions? Thanks
