The link from Rebelsbeach is a good one. The secret is to downsize the picture to a reasonable size (not full screen ), then upload it to someplace on the web - generally the IRV2 photo section unless you have your own personal website, and then link it in the signature section of your user profile. Use the tips on Rebelsbeach's link to handle those details and you're all set.

I downloaded my rigs picture to the photo link but do not understand how to link it in my signature section of my profile. Can you help with that. I also did not understand where you said go to the "rebelsbeach link".
Ken

When you have the picture downloaded to irv2....go to your picture on irv2 and right click on it.When you do this click on "properties" and there you will see the http address for your picture.copy this(make it blue) and then go to your profile page on irv2.
Where you would type your rig description you need to type this....First type a bracket like this "[" it's next to p and the lower one....then type the letters img, then the ] bracket.THEN PASTE your http picture.
After your picture, type the [ then this /img then the other bracket.
That should do it....Your picture should be edited to be 360x240 or smaller.

(Apologies to Warpath and Driver for the monsters we're creating.... but in my case it's all Mark's (Cruzer's) fault.... )

Ranger, just for giggles I tried to look at the picture link you supplied and that may be part of your problem....It wouldn't open for me...

Cut and paste one from the irv2 photo area and make sure what you cut and paste is the entire link.

Okay...I design web sites "” first read my earlier post on this forum about sizing the photo. A good size for a photo in the signature is 250 pixels wide. Mine is 250x132 (click on properties).

The best way to have a signature photo is to place it on your web site (nearly all connections come with personal space). In the signature block of the profile, you place the pic first in this manner, enclosing it in the brackets < and >. img src="http://www.website.com/picture file". you can look at mine and see the structure. Also, if you add align="left" in the that command, then anything else will be to the right of the pic.

<img src="http://www.george.eldridge.net/images/mh-webster.jpg" width="250" height="132" alt="Webster & Eugene the Toad" align="left">
<font size="3"><b>George & Cynthia</font>
Retired CPO, USN
http://George@Eldridge.net
George@Eldridge.net
2000 National Surfside 33'"”<i>Webster the Surfer</i>
1993 Grand Cherokee "” <i>Eugene the Toad<i></b>

The above is basically how it should look. The <b> and <i> are bold and italics.
