Hi Jarhead1...
The easiest way to send a PM is to click on that person's name (on the left side of their post) and then click on the dropdown that says "Invite (their name) to a Private Topic".
It will then go to their email account that they supplied when they signed up at IRV2. Their email address does NOT show up...also don't forget that it may not be their main email-so they may not check it all the time!

Just to add a bit more.
A PM will only show up in their email if they have email notification turned on.
Regardless of email notification being on or off, you'll see a notification of a new PM at right of the command boxes at the top of the posts on a forum, go, new, find, etc.
