To insert a picture(s) in your post in a new thread:

1. Scroll down to the Additional Options section & click on Manage Attachments. A pop up box will appear.
2. Click Browse to find the the photo on your computer. Double-click the photo to put it's address in the box next to the Browse button. Keep clicking Browse to add more pictures.
3. Click on Upload
4. Close the window

When you submit the thread, the photo(s) will be in your post.

If you want to put a picture in a post that is not a new thread:
1. Click on either Post a Reply (at the top of the thread) or Go Advanced (at the bottom of the thread)
2. Follow instructions from step 1 above

When you submit your post, the photo(s) will be in your post.

Sometimes, I've found this also works (don't know how or why it doesn't work all the time):
1. Right click on the picture & copy it
2. Put cursor in post, right click & paste it

When you submit your post, the photo(s) will be in your post, but without the box around them.

To use the 'insert image' feature the photo must be already uploaded somewhere; you'll paste in the photo's URL. If the photo s on your hard drive use the procedure Lori outlined above.

I wondered what that icon was for. So that can be used if we've got a photo already uploaded in the Photos section here, right?

kevmac,

Registered members are limited to 50 MB of attachment storage for items posted to threads and posts and 100 MB for files posted to the photo gallery. We highly recommend that you reduce file sizes before uploading them to posts and threads.
