Problems with posting

Is it just me or has something changed? When I go to post a reply in a thread, instead of then showing me my post, it switches to a 'Go Advanced' version of the reply.

If I then hit 'Submit reply' I get a countdown message telling me I can't resubmit a post for 25 seconds. It's happened a number of times in the past few days, I've been very careful not to double tap and it doesn't happen 100 percent of the time.

I haven't heard of any others with this issue. Please post your browser and any other info that may assist.

Macbook Pro, Chrome browser. If it happened once, I'd think it was just me, but it's happened repeatedly.

Have you tried clearing your browser of irv2 history and cookies ?
We'll see if anyone else posts with a similar issue.

I've erased history and cookies, signed out and signed back in. We'll see next time it happens.

You are not the only one. Try to make my first post of the day and it tells me I have to wait a certian amount of time in between post. Now that is a issue in my head! An issue with the system.

Steps to fix issues such as the two mentioned here include :

Empty your temp internet files (browsing history),
Delete the iRV2 cookies,
Set your browser’s security to medium-high,
Clear your cache,
Log out.
Log back in and click the “Remember Me” button.

It just happened again. I responded to a thread, creating it in a "Quick Reply" box. When I hit the "Post Quick Reply" button, it changed to a "Go Advanced" box and had the banner at the top that I had to wait 30 seconds with a countdown.

Usually it shows my post as it would display in the forum. The only way to see that has been to go to the header list of where I am in the forum, "iRV2 Forums > iRV2.com COMMUNITY FORUMS > Forum 101 | Announcements | Member Concerns" and click to re-display the thread, now with my post as it appears in the thread.

Just happened on this post.

"The following errors occurred with your submission:"

1. This forum requires that you wait 30 seconds between posts. Please try again in 28 seconds."

I have been having a similar problem. After waiting the suggested time I resubmit the post and end up with two posts - the first posted in spite of saying I had to wait.
