Problems with staying logged in

I have noticed that since the site crashed a couple of weeks ago, I do not stay logged on. When I log onto the forums, my name does not show up on the members online area, although at the top of the page it says Welcome, Jayc and gives me a log out button. I have to log out and log back in to be shown as being online to others, or I can make a post or a reply and log in again before I am allowed to post.

I always check the remember me box, and nothing in my personal settings as far as cookies have been changed.

Actually, the main server crash did not effect the forums, they reside on separate servers.

You may want to go into your preferences and clear your cookies. Over time that cookie can become corrupt and needs to be deleted and re-set.

Let me know if that solve the issue.

Well, it seems to be working now. I guess it's like going to the doctor or taking your car to the mechanic, everything works well now....
