It seems to me that when I use to enter a community that the Moderators name or names of that community where posted on the top. In the last few days I haven’t seen this and I actually liked it so if I had a problem in that community I could PM that moderator. What I am asking is did you folks change something right before our eyes with out having an eight hour shut down? Book2

Hi "book2roadtrash",

Thanks for posting your question here, indeed the moderators' names at the top of the forums are gone. If you'd like to contact a moderator, one option is to click on the "Report This Post" icon at the bottom right of the page. Another option would be to click on the "Contact Us" icon located at the bottom center of the page.

If you have a favorite moderator who you'd like to contact, click on his or her username and choose "Invite (name of moderator) to a Private Topic". Of course, it goes without saying, that you can always place a post in this forum.

We no longer have moderators assigned to a specific forum or community.

The concept under which we're currently operating is called 'Free Range Moderation" and all of the moderators have capabilities in any of the forums. It makes no difference to us which moderator a member chooses to communicate with but if they have one or more moderators whom they're familiar with they're certainly at liberty to continue using them for any issues deemed appropriate.

Yes, we made a change and we didn't shut down for eight hours.

I noticed their screen names missing, too, book2roadtrash. But, here, I just thought they all got laid off like the rest of the country.

Don't worry, Ken. Your iRV2 salary will continue at its previous rate for as long as you want.

There is always unemployment. Or maybe you could claim a disabilty from too much keyboarding.

Well, Laid Off or On or what ever, you folks do a great job and are able to be communicated with, which I think lends a great feeling of civility to these Forums, unlike some other that things just get done and no comment!!!!

We may not love you but we appreciate you all!
