Steven,
Many (if not most) of us towable owners are not represented in the Owners Forums - my Doubletree Mobile Suites 5th wheel, for instance, doesn't have a slot down there, either. For all the rest of us, feel free to post away in the Travel Trailer and 5th Wheel forums and we'll help you any way we can.
Rusty

it is only a 1994 but the problem is that the company no longer exist so what does that make it it is not vintage, it is not a classic yet, it is just discontinued and I know that there has to be more owners of this things that are just as fusturated as I am about where to put such a unit in some of these forums aarrrrrgggg ok now I feel better

Our "owner" or "manufacturer" forums are created mostly by an interest shown by our members....
Contrary to popular belief we do cater a bunch to the "towable" crowd, as we provide an Owner's Forum for owners of Excel,Fleetwood,Gulf Stream,Monaco,Newmar,Thor and Travel Supreme towables.
All of these forums were "formed" as a result of members just as yourself starting to post more and more in the "generic" areas.
As the interest grows for one particular "brand", it then becomes possible to create a category for that brand.
As others have suggested, I would encourage you to continue to post comments in the "Travel Trailer" area regarding issues and experiences with your Shasta fiver.
You just might be surprised at the responses you will receive.
Thank you for your support of iRV2.
