It's done in your profile, click the 'Edit' tab next to where it reads "Avatar/Picture URL", then make your selection from the window that opens.

Click "Custom Avatar", remove the URL you have there, then click the "Update Avatar" tab.

A small box with a red X will probably appear where the Avatar was when it's removed. You might want to put some other Avatar there to get rid of the X'd box.

I guess once you install a picture you cannot remove it unless you put another picture in it place. Thank you for the help.

After you select "no avatar" or a new avatar you must click on "submit" on your profile page for it to become effective.

Don't know whether you tried that.

I have been trying for weeks to put in a avator and there is no place in my profile that shows avator. That is very strange, yet if i try and open up a new account then it will show where the avators are samples. But once I submit it won't accept because that name is already taken. of course it is my name george henry
please anyone know how to correct this.

Hi - It looks like you registered a whole new account.

I also see an account for ruppr with a nice avatar. If you hit the contact us link (top right corner) and send an e-mail we can merge these accounts and reset the password on the old account. Ask to have ruppr2 merged into ruppr and a new passoword issued.

Janet,

In the old forum, ruppr was Bob Rupp's account while ruppr2 was Kristi Rupp's account. I'm sure that's what they're trying to set up here.
