REV Group, Inc.

I just wanted to make a suggestion regarding motorhomes made by the REV Group, Including Fleetwood and Holiday Rambler. I own a 2016 HR Vacationer and feel that, since this is the same motorhome, made at the same place and on the same line as Fleetwood, the newer REV Group Rv's should all be under one sub forum. This must get pretty hectic with all the consolidation going on, but my motorhome is basically a Fleetwood and I feel we would benefit from inclusion with the Fleetwood people under a REV Group Owner's Forum....Just a suggestion.

Thank you for the suggestion. We are taking a look at our set up, not just for Fleetwood/Monaco but others.

There is a lot of brand recognition that isn't yet widely associated with these new parent companies, so we don't want to confuse both new & old owners who come here that may not know where to go to find discussions on their make/model of RV's.

To Lori, and other iRV2 Leaders,

I would like to respectfully disagree with your concern about this being a source of confusion. After reading several threads on both the Monaco forum and the Fleetwood forum, I believe just the opposite is true. I notice this very short thread is 5 months old, and nothing much else has been said here about supporting the growing number of motorhome owners with Allied/REV motorhomes.

There are many, many MORE owners of Fleetwood and Monaco coaches on the forums and both of those groups expect and deserve their own Owner's Group forums as they have always had.

BUT... the Allied/REV coach owners don't share much in common anymore with either Fleetwood or Monaco, except the model names. These are VERY different coaches today with their own set of nuances and items that owners want to discuss. So the real confusion lies in trying to mix this new line of present-day coaches in with either Fleetwood or Monaco.

I have been an iRV2 member for many years - ever since I bought my 2007 Diplomat. This week I am trading it for a new 2017 REV Diplomat - same coach as the newer American Revolutions. Allied/REV Group has been producing coaches for several years now, and their customers really have no place of their own in iRV2. REV Group is growing by leaps and bounds and the owners of these coaches will only grow in number.

Therefore I would respectfully suggest to iRV2 leadership that you simply set up a NEW Owners group forum called "REV/Allied Specialty Coaches" or simply "REV Group Coaches". That would NOT be confusing as the owners of these coaches know who made their coach and so do the owners of the original Monaco and Fleetwood coaches. All three of these groups of owners have their own topics to discuss and it sure would be nice if we could all do that, with other forum members with similar coaches. I truly believe that would alleviate confusion rather than cause more. And I also believe that as the number of REV Group coaches grow, this new owner's forum would help iRV2 to also grow.

I'd love to hear more about what the leaders of iRV2 think about this. Please.
