Rotation of uploaded photos?

Hello all,

I have uploaded several photos and when I view them on my iPad they are in the correct orientation but when they are uploaded to the forum only some of them are rotated by 90 degrees. Is there a way to change the orientation of my uploaded images?

We have found that if you make any type of edit to the picture such as cropping it ever so slightly, saving it, and then uploading it will be upright.

Photos taken on modern cameras have a virtual "this side up" mark when you rotate the device to take photos.

iRV2's program does not currently read that tag.

To correct this - before upload:
*Open the image in any photo editor (even MS Paint works).
*Make any edit you wish (even a simple rotate left, rotate right)
*Select save.
*Upload the new saved image to iRV2.
This actually changes the orientation so, iRV2 reads and displays the image as saved.

Thanks for the great tip. So all I did was open a picture, click edit, rotate left then right and resaved and they came up great. So now if someone wants to look at my old rig they don’t have to lay on their side!

Thanks again, with the latest iOS version editing the photo is built right into the viewer
