Search procedures

I have done a search on how to search. The goal is to supply key words such as "battery" "cutoff" "switch" and have it only show results if those three words are included. I have tried + , etc with no results.

For example, I know there was a recent thread that discussed a broken/failed battery switch in the battery compartment. I am trying to revisit it because I have the same problem.

Thanks for any tips.
I'm probably missing a simple tutorial.

Try these
Battery Cut-Off Switch

Chassis battery cut off switch

Battery Cut-off Switch

There are more possibilities here

https://www.google.com/search?q=batt...earch=irv2.com

Good luck with your search.

Thanks Possum,

I guess I was not clear on my needs. I can search but come up with way to many results even using the advanced mode of the search feature. Is there a way of combining words so it only finds posts with those specific words?

I know for example if I was part of the thread I can use my user name YC1 to narrow the search. Beyond that I want to combine several specific words such as battery, switch, etc.

If anyone knows the trick to the iRV2 search, please post. For years I've tried to figure out the correct combo on a search that'll bring up only a specific grouping of words leading to a specific post rather than every post that contains even just 1 of the words in my search field.

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?

Cliff is correct.

Only use the Google search with "iRV2" checked.

I learned something today - Thanks! I've been using the iRV2 Search (2nd row tab bar) That is the worthless one.
