Search URL expiration?

Correct me if I am wrong, but when a search is performed it is assigned a serachid value and it further appears this value "expires" over time. EX. http://www.irv2.com/forums/search.php?searchid=32336

It is handy in some cases to post the searchid URL in answer to a forum question, however, since it appears this searchid value expires that link will go dead in time. Is there a way around this?????

So what's the answer Irv2 admins? How long does the "searchid=xxxxx" assigned to an internal advanced Irv2 search last?

Clearly the searchid expires and folks post search links all the time only to have them expire at some point.... How long until the searchid expires?

Searches have a very short life span, under an hour. Save the urls of the threads you want to remember
