The "remember me" box should place a cookie on your computer, and the software looks for this cookie when you try to make a post. If it can't find it, it prompts you to log in.

If you haven't changed your firewall security settings recently to block cookies, try clearing your cookies before logging in again.

Check the setting on Cookies... You have them disabled.....

And though rick is joking.. His suggestion (purging them) may be in order because a mal-formed cookie can block the new log-in cookie from taking.

Max,
What are you using for ISP? Have you changed anything in your processing procedures?

I have the same problem whether I delete cookies and cache or not.

However, it does remember my last activity so cookies should be active.

Max,
Once RR is recognized you should be okay.

We our on our way home this morning after three months on the road. 5065 miles. We stopped at our sons house in Mass for the week end. We took the new Mifi with us and only had one spot through the hills of West Virginia that we could not get service in motion. DW was on line most of the time while I drove.
Best $59 bucks a month we spent.

If internet explorer is set to delete history on closing it will also not save ID and password.

Rusty--
After you sent me a note, it worked okay for a few days. As I began to sent this note, I lost it again. It might be a program a friend of mine put on my computer to clean it up, called "system mechanic"--

Thanks,

Max

I have found a similar problem since switching to Win7. The log-in information will stay for days at a time and then they will all be wiped out (not just this forum) and I will have to log in to each forum I monitor.
