We can no longer post our signature when we post on the forum. It used to show. We've tried checking the signature box but it won't take. Also, couldn't find this exact problem in the "find" search window.

Any suggestions to once again show our signature?

Thanks in advance,

Paul & Linda

First thing I would do is go to Profile.
View /edit settings.
Scroll down to Sinature box and check that it is still entered.
Retype if missing, if there
scroll down to submit and click.
and yes on replys or new posts make sure the signature box is checked.

Best Regards, Clyde

Paul,

I looked at your profile, the signature area is filled in correctly, it should post if the check mark is checked in the signature box located at the bottom left corner of the Post or Reply page.

Richard, when the "reply to" window first pops-up the signature box is highlighted but then immediately fades to an outline and will not accept a check. Also, trying to edit the signature in our profile produced no results.

Paul,

Try dumping your Cookies and deleting your Temporary Internet files to see if that clears it up for you.

Paul,

I'm sorry, I've run out of options; it should work.

My only other suggestion is to test it on another computer, hopefully you have such access to one. Remotely, it may have something to do with your computers operating system, maybe some of the more technically inclined members will chime in and figure it out.

Richard,

Could the problem be in the "Cookies" section of his profile and the permissions granted ?

Just a thought, Clyde

Clyde,

Thanks for your suggestion, any and all are welcome.

There are permission settings in our Eve Personal Permissions area that facilitates the ability to use a signature by members. They are set by default to 'on' for all members, however I checked his and it is ticked; he should have the permissions needed to allow his signature to post.

Again, thanks....there still may be some issue with the site that's blocking it but I'm leaning toward the problem being on his end since I've not heard of another member having such an issue. But, we all know how quirky computers and software can be.

Richard,

You are prabablly right about it being on his end.
I've found that my Internet Security Program can take a "Dislikeing" to a program or a thread within'. Really difficult to track.
One thing at a time ......

Best regards, Clyde

Sometimes we can't see the forest for all the trees....Like Richard, I too checked behind the scenes and then something hit me and it was what Clyde had said...
When I went back and looked inside Bluewind's ORIGINAL post, he had NOT CHECKED the "signature" block...

Gotcha all set and the rest of my hair has been pulled out...
