Ad block is still around in 19.0 and up, it's considered an Extension now instead of an Add on .

I can understand and tolerate the ads. And the place is still a great resource. I've RVed from Portland, to Vancouver, to Ottawa, NYC, DC, down to Florida, flew to the Bahamas, back to Florida and am now in the FLA panhandle eating well and having a great time.

Have found a number of great campsites, kind people, great repair people for an older ('87) Class B.

Anyway, I agree with nwcountry, and being one myself has nothing to do with it. IRV2 is a great place, a great resource. moderator edit

I can tolerate the ads- What I can't tolerate is how slow this website is. I mean I can click & click & click and it takes forever to change a page here.
This is the sloooooowest website I've ever been on.

The iPhone app doesn't have ads or issues with slow loading.

Hey Bill, check using another browser. I use Firefox right now, but I do NOT use Internet Explorer, at all. My pages here load fast, not problem with the site at all. If you try another browser and it is slow as well, it could also be your ISP (internet provider) and the coverage area.

Times two on the 'nother browser idea...the site loads lickety-split for me with Chrome on my desktop.

But it could just be a relative thing for me...I'm a member at another Forum whose software is so old and slow that sometimes I can fix and eat a three-course meal while waiting for a page to load!

Besides changing browsers, if you use one that can accommodate Ad Block, (Firefox, Chrome) you'll find that all the bandwidth used to load animated and image heavy ads will speed things up.

Actually I have no problems on other forums. Just this one. I can click away over & over before a page updates. In the past I've had such slow response that I give up and go elsewhere for my RV info.
I't a shame that this website is sooooo slow..

The only thing that is confusing me about it not working for you, is why it works so fast for me? I'm no computer wiz but I just wonder if it isn't something else Bill? I just don't want to see you leave, plus, I know how aggravating it can be to have things run slow,

Denise
PS There are two things I use, Belarc.com to show me what all about my laptop/pc, then speedtest.com tells me what the download speed is , and what the upload speed is(I compare the test using IE, Firefox, then Chrome) Whichever is faster, depending where I am, I use that browser. Both free programs. I also use MS Essentials Anti virus, Super Anti Spyware, Malwarebytes all free as well.

I turned-off the side bar ads because sometimes they load slowly and lock-up the page until finished.

The top and bottom ads are fine...right now I'm looking at Bilstein shocks from Source Eng., a TPM System, and propane catalytic heaters...hmmm, wonder how they picked those ads.

Love the site!
Thanks to all who contribute.
