It's 1945CST. The forum is very slow for me. Is anyone else having this problem? It seems to stall when opening pages on IRV2.

I just ran a test on the forum speed and it seems to be working fine.

It might have been a glitch with InfoPop (the folks we lease the forum software from) earlier this evening.

Keep an eye on it and send me an E-mail RVrsRUS@AOL.Com if it happens again.

I second 007's motion. It took 16 seconds just to load this reply screen.

Just for comparison purposes, I just did a time test and it took this reply 4 seconds to load. I have a dial up at a campground and am getting 44K speed.

But, I'm also seeing what "007" is seeing with the avatar. I've reported this and the speed issue to the Webmaster for his attention.

Thanks for the heads up everyone!

Dave

Update...

Here is the response I received last night from Bill Rowell, our Webmaster:

"I know there have been many issues with the server along with the last software, due to the last update. I contacted InfoPop about it and they are aware and working on a solution."

Just wanted everyone to know that we are on top of it. InfoPop is an outstanding company who provides this forum software to hundreds of companies like iRV2. You can rest assured that they will get things back to normal as quickly as possible.

In the meantime, many thanks for your patience

Dave

I know it cna be slow at times, but I will check in over lunch from work and there are more than one T1 connections there. Somdays it is painfully slow on this site. Other sites load fine. Other times at home with a DSL, it is faster than work. WHo knows.
