I am still unable to use the chat rooms without turning off all my virus protection, which is totally unacceptable to me. I have read the posts re this and worked at changing the security in various ways. Still no success.

I can log into the room and the participants can see me. However, any entries I attempt to make don’t show in the room.

I am running a PC with XP $ IE7, all with the latest updates. My security is ESET.

Anyone have any ideas??

Bill;

I have the same problem as you do. I believe there are others as well. I had a person using McAffee report the same problem. I am running XP pro and IE7 with latest Flash. I am using Trend Micro Internet Security. I can get on the IRV2 web site OK but have to shut down my internet security to get on chat. These problems started with the upgrade. I have spent several hours with a professional computer tech and even with a telephone conference with Trend we could not fix the problem.

I am hoping that Andy will eventually come to our rescue.

I was unsuccessful in trying to fix my Trend Micro problem. I uninstalled it and installed Symantec Endpoint Protection and I am happy to report that everything is now working as it should. Anyone having problems getting on Chat that has the latest version of Flash should suspect their Internet Security program. I am now a Happy Camper.
