If an administrator doesn't come on to help stop them I will delete my account and start new.

Thanks everyone for your help but enough is enough!

Stop receiving "daily picks"?

Our tech team has been in touch with Tapatalk and reported this to us. "Daily Picks can be turned off on Android, although they call it "Recommendations" on Android.Tapatalk has responded that the issue has been found and will be fixed in the next release. Unfortunately, there is no specific timing on when they will actually release that update."

I don't know that doing that will stop them, I think it is in the software. I would first open a new account and see if you get them twice, if not then delete the old account.

Please do not re register another irv2 account as our Community Rules do not allow this.

If I don't use tapatalk and don't use android, then how do I stop receiving them on an iPhone and iPad?

I enjoy irv2, but HATE the "daily pics" cluttering up my phone!!

If he only way is to register with another name and email address why would that be against the rules?

I'm now receiving SPAM i didn't sign up for!! :(

If your using the app , it's powered by Tapatalk. Try deleting the app and use the full site via Safari until Tapatalk fixes this issue.

Thanks for understanding that these app updates and fixes are not in our direct control. Now that I've said that , our app is the best it's ever been in the years I've used it. Not perfect but better and we have techs that keep working to make it better.

How about giving us a way to get rid of unwanted notifications? This problem was reported 2 months ago and no response. We did not ask that they be sent, they just appeared after a software update, they use data minutes on a daily basis that I don't want to pay for.

I get those as well. Both iPhone and iPad.
Not an issue but I am probably not subscribed to any of those daily picks either.

DrDaveMA- if you want to add photos from your iPhone or iPad, just hold your finger down on/in the body of the email you are sending. You should get a menu bar to pop up. On the menu bar, there are left and right arrows, hit the right arrow and you will see a paper clip attachment icon. Select that and you can add a photo from your library.
Of course, I am doing this from memory......

Tom, thanks for the information, but I have been posting pictures on IRV2 for years, maybe that info was for someone else?

DrDave, I see what you are saying now.
I will have to try it on my iPad and see what happens, if I send photos to irv, I usually do it from my laptop.
