Tables & Links

I have two questions.

1. It is often desirable to show information in the form of a table. The formattong gets all messed up when using iRV2. It seems that this site eliminates multiple spaces. That makes showing info in a table almost impossible.

Is thier a way around this limitation? If not, it keeps a lot of useful information away from users.

2. How do you show a link to another thread or web site?

Links are pasted in by copying the link address and using the "link" icon/button in the reply box.

Same for posting images (copy image URL), except that's done using the "image" icon/button (mountain-in-frame).

The only way I know to post a (homemade?) formatted "table" is to convert it to an image somehow...but I'm no expert on the subject.

As for tables etc. found online- they're almost always images, so use the image option described above. If they're online in PDF form, post the link to that page.

You can also post a link by 'copy and paste.' On the page you wish to link, copy the address, then in your reply paste the link. The address will clue the forum to format it as a link. Like this:

If you use the link button, (looks like globe with chain link at base) it posts like this:

Looks the same, but takes extra steps!

For a table, create one in a word processor or spreadsheet, print it to a PDF file, then you can post it as an image.
