The "Thanks" Button

Why is there a daily limit on how many members I can thank? I started a thread in which every responder wished me well, and I’d like to thank each of them, but a warning pops up telling me I’ve exceeded my "Thanks" for the day. I can still get it done, just a few every day I guess. A little frustrating.

Most sites I've seen limit Thanks (and negative feedback) functions to avoid tilted "reputation" statistics. If not, someone can get spammed with feedback (good or bad) that isn't deserved by an obsessive fan or foe.

I've been on the internet a time or two myself and have seen limits on negative feedback, but I can't say I've ever seen a limit on positive.

It's always something!!! Maybe you could just add a "Thanks to all" post on your thread. (I got your thanks, BTW. I'm glad things are improving for your family.)
