thread removed

I just found out you can't offer any item or parts at no cost (just actual shipping cost) in a thread on the forum. I am replacing something that is still in great condition with something new. My thread was removed by a Mod. You have to list them in the classified section I was told. I am not selling it. Its not something that you would typically sell or be looking to buy so it would do no good to list in classified. It is the type of thing that someone looking at threads on the forum might see and say I need that, wow. I guess I should not say I have done this before and have seen other threads offering parts like this. Hard to understand this.

The reason these things should be listed in classifieds is that that's where folks look for things they need and once the item has gone to a new home the ads is removed. The forum threads stays around forever ..... thanks for understanding.
