ticket

i received something on my e-mail that said something about a ticket. not sure what was meant by that, can web master explain also something about social networking. all this was greek to me.

Hi Faye...
The "ticket" is generated from the "Help Desk" when you send something there.

In your case - you mistakenly emailed to the Help Desk-Tech Support area. This happened when you more than likely clicked on a link in your email for a thread you are following. The link did not put you into the forum - but opened an email window which is where you posted to.

The best way to avoid this is to make sure you are on the forum and at the thread you want to post to when you get ready to respond.

I hope this explained it well enough...
