Is there a time out (due to inactivity) that automatically logs a user off iRV2? If I am not active for a couple of hours, I am required to log back on to iRV2.
thanks,

I have not experienced one. I checked "Remember me" when I logged in and have never had to log in again. I suspect it sets a cookie because I had to log in after I cleared them.

Gary,
When you say you are not active, is it all internet activity or just iRV2?
I have found that if my computer goest to sleep the connection is lost. I don't think it is the computer but more the ISP. Sometimes when I use one of the local carrier, like Tangonet, it will drop me after just a few minutes of no activity. So, I have a program, Sam Spade, that has "stay alive," so I don't get dropped. Most likely it is your connectivity and not the iRV2. I never get dropped from iRV2.

Make sure you check the Remember Me box before you login (see attachment).

If you are having trouble getting dropped, create a batch file -
a.bat
enter this into the file
@echo off
:top
ping www.google.com -n 1
ping 127.0.0.1 -n 10 -w 1000 > nul
goto top
Save the file and run it when you connect to tengo or any fershluggener provider.
It will send ping to google every few seconds and keep the link active. Works great!

Wayne and hamguy, I have ATT as my ISP and stream XMRadio. The ISP is not the problem as my XMRadio never quits.
Andy, I'll check the remember me box when logging in. Do I need to do this each time?
thanks,
