unwanted e-mail notification

How do I stop e-mail notifications every time somebody adds to a thread that I made a comment on????

  • Go Into your User CP setting
  • Click Edit Options under the "Settings & Options" section.
  • You will find a heading of: Default Thread Subscription Mode under the "Messaging & Notification" area.
  • Change the drop-down in that section to your preferred method.

FYI
This is how the section with the drop down reads...When you post a new thread, or reply to a topic, you can choose to automatically add that thread to your list of subscribed threads, with the option to receive email notification of new replies to that thread.

No email notification
Instant email notification

Weekly email notification
