Petro,

I had the same problem and I did the following:
1- I downloaded a new version of Java.
2- I downloaded a new version of Flash Player.
3- I turned off my security program "defender pro"
Now I am able to get in the room. I am going to re activate Defender Pro and see what happens. If that gives me a problem then we know it is a security problem with the website.
Tom

Petro,
I tried to get in Chat room with Defender Pro activated and I couldn't get in so I disabled it and can get in fine.
Obviously it has to do with security. Don't know what the new chat room or IRV2 has that cause a problem.
One thing to remember is that my Widows firewall is still activated.

FWIW
I have the latest Java and Flash versions/updates and am running the Trend AV/firewall and don't seem to have any trouble accessing the chatrooms on IRV2. Go figure.

I haven't added anything new to this puter, XP edition, TODAY I got directly onto the forum page, I still can't access the chat room.

Tom;

I turned off my Windows Firewall and that did not help. My tech tried Java with Trend Micro Internet Security and could not get into the Chat Rooms. I believe the software change has a conflict with some Internet Security Programs. he worked for hours and the only changes he could do that would enable log on to Chat was shut down Trend Micro.

Petro,

If I msay suggest the following:

1- Upgrade to a new Java and a new Flash Player.
2- Disable your security program while getting into the chat room.

All of the above has worked for me and I think the upgrade to the Flash Player is what made the difference.

Good luck!

I couldn't get into the Winnebago chat successfully Tue night. I could see the conversation in the room, but, could not get my entries to show. The other participants could see my presence, but not anything else.

I was finally able to get in successfully when I totally disabled my security..which is not a satisfactry solution.

I have the latest flash, XP, and IE7. I use ESET as my security system.

This is the 2nd week in a row where an upgrade has occurred and I have not been able to get into the chat rooms.

Ideas??
