I am frustrated.

The posts that I am reading now have numerous (common?) words that are highlited with double-underlines !!?... and are clickable. This is just minorly distracting unless i inadvertently let my cursor pause over them and then a popup pops up.

Also, there are now adds within posts themselves???
A add paragraph on why and how to join iRV2 "For Free!" is interspaced routinely thru my viewing actually in the middle of posts.

The site has grown a lot from its early roots, both in members, technology, and now also annoying commercialism.
I am very frustrated.
Is this what I have to look forward to getting used to with the new change?

Are the double-underlined words a change I accidently made at my end?

ahhh .... apparently i wasn't, and no I didn't ...

i disabled 'Adds on the Right Side' as per instructs and i believe that has helped.
My frustration at all the remaining extra right-side STUFF still exists, although that might possibly be attributable this this ol barnyard rooster having to endure change.

The double clickie word ANNOYance does seem to go away once logged in.

There are still adds inbetween the 1st and 2nd posts, but not quite as aggravating as the iRV2 add.

thanks Rusty

FatDog,

Yeah, I found the only way to get the minimum amount of ads, is to:
1) Be logged in
2) Disable the right column

When you view the Forums not logged in, it's as if you're a guest & you get bombarded with all the ads, especially that ad to join iRV2. The recent added option to disable the right column (for members) has made the site much more enjoyable for me.

Great option to be able to have a full screen on the posts; sometimes i do MISS the recent threads part. It just takes time to sort thru it all. So far I've gotten all my questions answered.
Thanks...ADMINISTRATORS
